I had to confront the realities of my breast cancer diagnosis ,and to be truly well and heal, confront the various ruminations and stinkin thinkin (as Mom used to say) that would keep me anxious, closed, and honestly unable to receive which is what I need right now. I had just recovered emotionally from a son with a cancer diagnosis and death of parents, so needless to say unless one has a tribe of people who are medical professionals, unbiased, versed in empowering women, and teaching meditation, he or she will start treatments at a complete disadvantage.
Dolores has met with me numerable times, and created a space to weep, talk, pray, meditate, listen and do some great work to take this all on. I had a much better start than had I tried this alone. Never try this alone.
I have learned to breath, meditate, and be present which gave me a step up to a better prayer life in the morning. My meditations and breathing got me through the biopsies, and even the fairly rough procedure of my port placement and chemotherapy treatment.
I thank God for Dolores. She is professional, gifted, and gives her all to her clients, even the peaceful, loving atmosphere of her home which is a sanctuary to be intimate and honest.
